I have worked in Devonalds for over 20 years where I started as a receptionist. Following a period as a secretary I became a trainee caseworker within the Family Department and more recently the Care Department.
I believe it is important to have a good rapport with clients and a caring helpful approach when dealing with them, whilst at the same time dealing with matters in a professional manner. I live in the locality which I also feel benefits clients in that I have a greater understanding of their circumstances.
In my spare time I like to go down West where I have my caravan and I go to relax. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am a Swansea City fan and I am Secretary of a local Football Club.
My daughter is in University studying Medical Sciences, graduating in July with the hope of going on to Medicine in September and my son is currently doing his GCSE’s and hoping to go on to an Engineering Apprenticeship in September.
I have worked for Devonalds for 30 years in September, the 7th to be exact starting in 1990 with Bence & Samuel and bringing my service over in 1996 when we merged with Devonalds.
