Katie Baldwin
I qualified as a Solicitor in May 2023 and I then joined Devonalds upon qualification as a Solicitor in the Private Client department.
I studied Law with Legal Practice at the University of South Wales and graduated in 2019. During my time at University I was nominated for the Attorney General Pro Bono awards at the House of Commons for my outstanding contribution to providing Legal Advice to the local community through the University’s Legal Advice Clinic.
I began my career in Law in a large city firm as a Paralegal in Trusts and Estates where I gained extensive knowledge in Estate Administration dealing with straightforward grant of probate applications, to high net worth estates with overseas assets, business and agricultural property.
The nature of the work that I undertake is very rewarding as I am able to assist clients or beneficiaries at what is often a difficult time. I have extensive knowledge in providing clients with advice on Wills, Estate Planning and Administration, Inheritance Tax and Power of Attorneys. I pride myself in providing my advice and assistance with a friendly and tailored approach. I am willing to travel to meet with you at any of our offices or meet you at your home address. Additionally, if the work you need completed is time-sensitive, I am happy to accommodate to this.
Outside of work you will find me teaching at the local gyms as a qualified Group Exercise Instructor. I am also partial to a trip to the theatre to see a Musical (my favourite being Legally Blonde of course!).
