Matthew Body
Although I grew up near Portsmouth I have lived in South Wales for many years, following University. I have always practiced in the field of childcare.
Outside of work, I married and we have two young children, who keep me very busy! I used to play chess competitively, having played for and captained Hampshire and represented England at Under 18. Now I enjoy the occasional game of squash when I have the time and attending fund raising events for local charities.
Joel Evans
I was born and raised in Porth, and after moving to Cardiff during University, I've now returned to Porth where I live with my girlfriend. I’m a keen footballer and play centre midfield on Saturday mornings. As a big Cardiff City fan it was always been my dream to play at Ninian Park and this dream came true when I played there in a cup final as a skinny 17 year old. We won the game 5-0, just a couple of months before the stadium was demolished. I’m also always up for a game of Squash if anyone would like to take me on at Tylorstown Sports Centre.
Sara Edwards
I was born and raised in Llwyncelyn, Porth and now live in Porth with my husband. I have 2 grown up children and 2 rescue boxerdogs. Outside of work I enjoy long walks with my husband and dogs. I love sports mostly Baseball and American Football but I am also a Cardiff City season ticket holder and love watching them with my husband and friends. I love rock music, mostly old rock and I am always in concerts or rock festivals, making a fool of myself doing air guitar! I also enjoying travelling, mostly around the USA where I love to explore, go to sports games and even try and catch a rock concert if I can.
Alex Kilby
Outside of work music is my passion - just as well really as I am probably the worst person you could find at sport! I've played guitar since I was 11 and also sing (loosely termed) and I am currently learning how to play drums.
I've played in bands for most of my life and have played all over the UK including the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool and my last band had a little bit of Radio 1 airplay.
These days I do enjoy the local pub's open mic night doing acoustic cover songs although I do miss the live stage with a full band and will be getting back into it shortly! You can also find my channel on Youtube if you know where to look...
Kristy Smith
Born and raised in Trealaw and Tonyrefail, I am very proud of my Rhondda roots. I enjoy horse riding, although I don’t go as much as I used to – something I’m sure my horse is grateful for! I love going to the gym, even though my colleagues and friends would comment that I am a little too enthusiastic about 5.30am spin classes! Those, and running around after my 4 year old daughter keep me very busy!
