Ffion Durston

I began my Training Contract with Devonalds in August 2022 and qualified as a Solicitor in August 2024. Prior to this, I gained extensive experience by working as a Paralegal for a different firm.

I studied at Cardiff University and graduated in 2020 with a First Class Law Degree and I graduated again in 2021 with a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course. Alongside my studies, I provided help and support to people with learning difficulties in the legal process which has helped me become a very approachable legal professional.

In my role, I take a dedicated approach to developing a specialist knowledge in the department areas I am training in. I am looking forward to continuing to gain valuable experience as a Trainee Solicitor which in turn will help me achieve my long term goal of qualifying as a Solicitor.

I have lived in the area of Tonypandy all of my life and I am very proud to be a part of a law firm that is committed to providing legal services to the local people of South Wales.

Outside of work, I am a keen baker who enjoys learning new recipes and making my creations look picture perfect. I regularly walk my Cavachon dog Charlie on the local paths near where I live. On the weekends, I can be found in the theatre, with family and friends or with a book in my hands!
